1. Who we are, and what this policy covers
AppEZ, LLC is a Georgia limited liability company based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. We design, build and operate mobile and web applications for small businesses and the customers those businesses serve.
This policy covers appezapps.com and every application and service AppEZ, LLC operates, unless that application presents a different policy of its own. Throughout, “we”, “us” and “AppEZ” mean AppEZ, LLC, and “you” means the person using our website or an application we operate.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — name, email address, telephone number, and the password or third-party sign-in you choose.
- Profile and business information — what you or your business chooses to add, such as a business name, locations, hours, services offered, staff members and images.
- Transaction information — bookings, orders, appointments and similar records you create. Where a service is paid for, payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
- Communications — messages you send to support, and anything you choose to include in them.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data — IP address, device and operating-system type, application version, timestamps, and error diagnostics.
- Usage data — the screens and features used, and actions taken, so that we can operate, secure and improve the service.
Information from third parties
- Sign-in providers — if you sign in with Google, Apple or a similar provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider releases, such as your name, email address and profile image.
- Businesses using our software — a business that uses an application we operate may add information about its own customers, including you.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and support the service, and to create and administer accounts.
- To carry out what you ask for — confirming a booking, sending a receipt, delivering a notification you enabled.
- To secure the service: to detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
- To improve the service, including diagnosing faults and understanding which features are used.
- To communicate with you about service changes, security matters and support requests.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Information received from Google APIs
AppEZ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where an application we operate connects to a Google account, it requests only the scopes that feature needs, uses the data only to provide or improve that user-facing feature, and does not transfer that data except as necessary to provide it, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your consent. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and de-identified. You can withdraw access at any time from your Google account's security settings.
6. Applications we operate for business customers
Some applications are operated on behalf of a business customer. In those applications, the business decides what information is collected about its own customers and why; AppEZ processes that information on the business's instructions in order to run the application. If you are a customer of such a business and want your information corrected or deleted, contact that business first. You may also contact us at legal@appezapps.com and we will route the request to them.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as the account is active and for as long afterwards as is needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed for those purposes it is deleted or irreversibly de-identified. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
9. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls that limit who can reach production systems, credential rotation, logging, and least-privilege access for staff and contractors. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.
10. Your choices and your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to receive a portable copy, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Exercising these rights will not result in discriminatory treatment.
To make a request, email legal@appezapps.com. We will verify the request against the account it concerns and respond within the period the applicable law requires. You may also disable notifications, revoke a connected sign-in provider, or close your account at any time from within the application.
11. Children
Our website and applications are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where an application is designed to be used by a minor, it does so only through a parent or guardian account and under the terms presented in that application. If you believe a child has given us information, email legal@appezapps.com and we will delete it.
12. Where information is processed
AppEZ is based in the United States and the information we process is stored and processed there, and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice in the application or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies to you.
